Chambered in .308 Winchester, Colt is backing the CBX with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee. Each variant uses a carbon-steel, button-rifled barrel with 5/8-24 UNEF threaded muzzles and a heavy profile. Other features include a 60-degree bolt throw, user-adjustable trigger, one-piece R700 Pic rail, an angled pistol grip, built-in thumb shelf, QD sling cups, and an ambidextrous magazine release for its AICS-style detachable mags. In a nod to the company’s recent acquisition by CZ, the CBX uses a bolt with technology drawn from the proven CZ 600 series rifle.
